On the second week, I wrote 20 words based on my field of study for a glossary.
accountant
noun
A person whose job is to keep, inspect, and analyze financial accounts.
Example: Within the office, Marco worked as an accountant.
administrator
noun
A person responsible for running a business, organization, etc.
Example: The administrator had been in charge of the company even when Lucas was a young boy, and he is still in charge even now that Lucas is working for the company.
balance sheet
noun
A statement of the assets, liabilities, and capital of a business or other organization at a particular point in time, detailing the balance of income and expenditure over the preceding period.
Example: According to the balance sheet, we we have bought a lot of tables for the office.
benefit
noun
An advantage or profit gained from something.
Example: The store made some benefits from the newest product.
consumer
noun
A person who purchases goods and services for personal use.
Example: The consumer had purchased the complete tea set.
feature
noun
A distinctive attribute or aspect of something.
Example: With the many additional features, such as surround radio and radar system, the price of the car had greatly inflated.
GST
noun
A value-added tax levied on most goods and services sold for domestic consumption.
Example: After selling the truck, Herman took note of the GST for his taxes.
losses

The fact or process of losing something or someone.
Example: Having accidentally insulted their target audience during the promotion, the movie was a financial flop and the studio suffered heavy losses.

The process of dealing with or controlling things or people.
Example: The management of the company had to improve if Michael hoped to keep it afloat for the foreseeable future, for everyone was disorganized and had no sense of responsibility, right now.

An expression or feeling of disapproval or opposition; a reason for disagreeing.
Example: Slamming his hands against his desk, the lawyer then pointed his finger and said "OBJECTION!" to the obvious lie.
pipeline

The step-by-step process sales reps go through to convert a prospect into a customer.
Example: He had the curious man go through the pipeline before he could sell his product.
profit margin
noun
The amount by which revenue from sales exceeds costs in a business.
Example: When she saw how much she sold and how much money she made with those sales, the shopkeeper said, "I like those profit margins.".
profits
noun
A financial gain, especially the difference between the amount earned and the amount spent in buying, operating, or producing something.
Example: With the new brand of shoes selling like hotcakes, the store was finally making profits.
QST
noun
A value-added tax levied on most goods and services sold for domestic consumption.
Example: After selling the television, Marco took note of the QST for his taxes.
quota
noun
A fixed share of something that a person or group is entitled to receive or is bound to contribute.
Example: If he could get past the roadblock, he'll be able to reach the quota within a day.
shareholder
noun
An owner of shares in a company.
Example: The manager knew that the shareholder would be pleased with this turn of event.
supplier
noun
A person or organization that provides something needed such as a product or service.
Example: The supplier had provided just enough televisions to sell for the month.
supply
noun
A stock of a resource from which a person or place can be provided with the necessary amount of that resource.
Example: The coffee supply had provided the restaurant with their coffee beans for as long as Alex remembers working there.
taxes
noun
A compulsory contribution to state revenue, levied by the government on workers' income and business profits, or added to the cost of some goods, services, and transactions.
Example: As taxes were due for tomorrow, the accounting team was scrambling for time as they hastily looked over all of the company's activities this year.
treasury
noun
The funds or revenue of a government, corporation, or institution.
Example: If the poor business practices were to continue, the treasury might find itself in a matter of months.
